On the subject of saving the environment are doing our part to help make the planet a little healthier, there’s just about no more efficient way to help out than by recycling. Most of us here in the Johns Creek community know and understand the importance of this, and that’s why we’re happy to tell you about an upcoming area recycling event that will hopefully do some good for the planet as well as ourselves.
Do you have a few large or bulky items sitting around your home that you have no use for any more? Whether they’re outdated clothes washers, mattresses, furniture, or other larger items that are difficult to dispose of, at the Johns Creek Bulky Recycling Day you can get rid of these items and help them go towards a good cause. If you have any of these kinds of items, and they’re still in working and useful order, bring them by the Medlock Bridge Shopping Center at 6000 Medlock Bridge Parkway and drop them off. All the items donated will be given to the Atlanta Furniture Bank, a great local cause that helps provide items for families in need.
They’ll be there at the Medlock Bridge Shopping Center from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 14th, so bring by your working large items you want to donate and they’ll happily take them off your hands. Be a good neighbor and bring a few items by to help out the local community!
