North Fulton Schools Named 2010 Schools of Excellence

Holcomb Bridge Middle School in Alpharetta and Crabapple Crossing Elementary School in Milton were recently selected as 2010 Schools of Excellence for the state of Georgia. Only 22 schools in Georgia are honored with this distinction. Fulton County Schools Superintendent Cindy Loe states “It’s thrilling to learn that of only 22 schools in the state recognized for this prestigious distinction, two are from Fulton County.” The awarded schools were also given $1,000 from Georgia Natural Gas.

Holcomb Bridge Middle was recognized for their accomplishments in the “Greatest Gains” category, which looks at continuous gains in student achievement for the past three years. Crabapple Crossing Elementary was recognized for ‘Top 10 Percent” category, which looked at the top 10 percent of Georgia school’s assessments in reading and mathematics. Crabapple was also awarded the School of Excellence designation back in 2004.

Holcomb Bridge and Crabapple Crossing are just two examples of Fulton County Schools that offer outstanding programs for their students. Please give us a call to learn more about Fulton County Schools and relocating to the North Fulton area.
